Our client is a large industrial joint-venture between 2 European multinationals, employing 800 staff and making $400 M revenue. Job description This is an excellent career-building opportunity: as Strategic Planning Officer, you will be the right-hand of the Managing Director, closely involved in formulating and implementing the company's medium to long-term strategy as the business anticipates the doubling of its production capacity. In this challenging and fast-moving context, you will have the occasion to make a significant impact and will be groomed to take up an executive management position within a 2-year period.Your main accountabilities will be:- Carry out competitive research and market analysis on a local and regional level, - Draft and implement the company's medium-term strategy, in collaboration with the European Head Offices, by identifying objectives both in terms of its business development and growth as well as in regards to its internal organization (production, sales, procurement, finance departments)- Conduct all related organizational audits in order to identify strategic areas of improvement and coordinate with related departments to optimize performance - Identify adverse trends to the business, both internally and externally, and make appropriate recommendations to counteract them.

Qualifications: 
You are ideally an MBA holder with at least 3 years of proven experience in the manufacturing industry in a management consulting role or, alternatively, in a business development role. You have excellent communication skills and an ability to successfully navigate complex organizations. Knowledge of ERP would be strongly appreciated and previous international experience in a developing country will be a significant advantage.
