Ensure construction safety regulations both dictated by UI and federal safety agencies are adhered to by construction contractors. Ensure that the construction sites adhere to federal and state environmental compliance regulations, Manages the performance of employees through goal setting, ongoing assessment and coaching. Identify and resolve technical, operational and organizational problems related to construction contract execution. Ensure effective lines of communications between various areas, processes, and process members are established and maintained to anticipate stakeholder needs and identify and implement solutions. Coordinate with real estate and permitting to ensure that all necessary easements and permits are in place to enable construction on the project. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field; advanced degree or professional certification preferred. Ten years of experience in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or the equivalent and 2 years supervisory / project management experience.
