The Chief of Party will provide the overall technical and administrative management for the project and maintain accountability to headquarters office in the United States and to USAID in the field.
Responsibilities:
• Provide overall leadership for the implementation of the project;
• Serve as principal liaison with USAID, counterparts and other donors;
• Oversee fulfillment of all contract delivery requirements including all reports;
• Provide technical inputs in areas of his/her expertise in institutional strengthening and organizational development;
• Oversee internal management of the project including the budget and performance monitoring and evaluation.
A first level university degree (Bachelor’s degree) in translation or its equivalent in a relevant field plus a post-graduate diploma or professional certificate in translation. The candidate should have a minimum of eight (08) years relevant post-qualification working experience.
